Dance Originally uploaded by prabhaJha All I wish today All I pray to god To abandon my heart with all the love All the care I feel, deep inside For people, who belong to me. Or I believe that they do Love in the time of Cholera, a book by Gabriel Garcia Marquez a Nobel Prize Winner. It is a lyrical love story. A classic and I was compelled to compare with “The Gone with the Wind”, for the volume style and content. I borrowed this book some 5 weeks back after reading the review on some unknown blog. While I read other books I was having no intention to read as such. One fine morning I carried the book with me to work and I chose to doze off than read. It was sitting on my desk when Alta stopped by, commenting on the book. That evening I started reading it. It was a story of eternal love that I am very convinced does not exist, and if it does is of no good to anyone including the lovers. And the book winds a Nobel Prize, I wonder there are people who read these books and appreciate it....

Lotus Originally uploaded by prabhaJha Hmm…So I have hit that wall in blogging now. I do not know what I should write. And I found these Hindi poems I wrote long time back 7/17/2006 Duwidhaa Jo chaaha na paya Tho fir kyu chaah uski, jise paana nahi hai Chale the jis raah par Usse ana pada lout kar Fir kyu asaan lage badhaye Us raah ki, jispar kabhi jana nahi hai Sunkar jo labz Seekha jeena ka maksad Par fir karke ansuna use Chuna is raag ko Fir kyu duhraye un bhele suron ko Aaj fir jinko, gaana nahi hai Ek-ek lamhe ko agar jiya hai jee bhar ke Tho fir kare kyu vyarth wo lamha Jo chala jaa raha hai Baahe kholkarke, kyu tarsna us pal ke liye Jise lotkar ab kabhi, wapas yahan aana nahi hai Ruk- ruk ke chalati aur hai chal chalk e rukati Waqt ki leheren Takarate ham kabhi kinaro se Kabhi khichte hain sagar ki or Uske jhaag me khud ko lipatata chhodkar bhee Rukti kabhi saanse, ghtata dam Kinaro ke liye Aise jeene se tho mujhe jeena nahi hai 7/25/2006 Garv Garv mera Jhukta nahi mera sar Hai...

Dragon Originally uploaded by prabhaJha Long weekend, very long indeed. It started on Wednesday afternoon till Monday morning. We were mostly home as it is getting colder and I am getting heavier. We made a ginger bread house (wish I could post the picture) and did some painting in the basement; also visited my dr. for blood work, attended 1 birthday party and forgot all about Pratyush’s swimming class on Saturday. On the way back home on Wednesday, I was delivered the news of Bombay attacks. I called my friend who lives in Colaba and they mistook the blasts for a wedding procession. Good that they were safe and sound though the whole incident was heartbreaking and mind boggling. After all who gives them the right to kill the fellow beings and what reason can be justifiable enough to carry on such inhuman acts? It is beyond my understanding but I would want to know how they justify their satanic proceed against human race. I bet there has been enough talked about it and I am not going...
